I thought, In old age I will buy my youth, In youth, they taught me to be wise. Childhood stole its innocence, Leaving nothing but time’s disguise. What age? What time? Every moment slipped away, Stillness was never mine to stay. Wherever I wished to spend my days, Time itself was lost in ways— Not to cherish, but to obey.
