Lasso's efficiency makes it a viable SNARK backend for all VM instructions. We call this Jolt: Just One Lookup Table ⚑️ Low-level details of these instructions can be shared across many VMs, enabling fast SNARKs of all of the programming languages developers know and love.

How efficient is it? >10x faster than halo2's lookup arguments.

To understand the motivations and potentials of the tech, check out our blog post. It's approachable, I think. https://a16zcrypto.com/posts/article/building-on-lasso-and-jolt/

Finally, we're looking for contributors, come join us! We believe Lasso and Jolt will be huge for decentralized systems. Come play a part in building that future. Open issues can be found on Github and feel free to reach out via DMs.
