Why is this important?

Each blockchain usually operates like an isolated island and cannot directly exchange information with other blockchains. Hyperlane solves this problem by enabling the transfer of messages, data, or assets between different blockchains.

How does it work?

Hyperlane uses a concept called “inter-chain messaging” (interoperability). This means that if you have something on one blockchain (like Ethereum), you can transfer it to another blockchain (like Solana or Avalanche) or share data between them.
