Roman Sterlingov, the founder of Bitcoin Fog, has been sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison for laundering tens of millions of dollars connected to illegal drug transactions. Sterlingov operated Bitcoin Fog, a service that mixed cryptocurrencies to obscure their origins and facilitate illicit financial activities.
