Went on my longest run ever today, 6.28 miles around Lake Union!

That’s a fun run - way hillier then I’d have thought

Eastlake was definitely one big hill, it’s funny you’d think that running around a lake would keep you around the same elevation throughout 😭

Yeah I was super misguided when I thought I could just cruise around the perimeter haha - def got lost around the houseboats but was 100% a nice run - thanks for the reminder to do it again, my usual is just along the waterfront

I’m also thinking of doing the SR520 bridge one of these days, about 6 miles out and back.

I’ve done that one - was miles 13-19 of the marathon in 2022, my least favorite stretch haha. Was just out in the open + wind + narrow / crowded + way steeper then I expected. But probably  fun one when it’s just a 10k on a warm sunny day in the summer.

The wind was tough toward the beginning, but luckily it was pushing me up the university bridge. Summer would be nice, followed by a swim to cool off.
