The reality is that capital moves where efficiency is maximized, and that increasingly means fewer humans, not more. Do you think the shift toward AI-driven production will create more opportunities for human workers in new roles, or will it mostly displace them?

Depends what the factories are built to do and how much is automated. Sure humans will be necessary in factories, but how many will really be needed is unclear. The point here was more that it is not likely any factories are built quickly, and even if they were the companies building them would be optimizing for automation. On top of that most working age Americans are not looking for factory work so it is all asinine political rhetoric that will ultimately lead us nowhere good.
