The reason why "don't trust anons" doesn't hold water is because it gives unwarranted and consequential credibility to people who are doxxed. Just because someone is doxxed, doesn't mean they won't scam you. Many people suck and we should act according to that policy. Not anon v doxxed.

Biggest thing is trust your instincts, whether someone is doxxed or not. If you get the feeling something is off don’t be afraid to exercise caution or ask questions. Your gut can tell you things your emotions will mask.
