Was it inevitable that ISPs (Verizon, ATT, Cox, etc) wouldn’t capture margin? Or was there a world where they provided a differentiated service with some unique offerings? This seems like the happy path: they are interoperable/composable with other layers of the stack and we have a path towards an open web.
