On the rice, there is a coin, and the other elements of the *Haft-Seen* table include *Senjed, Seer (garlic), Serkeh (vinegar), Samanu, Sabzeh (sprouts), and Sib (apple).* These are the traditional items of the *Haft-Seen* table for *Nowruz*. Each of them starts with the Persian letter *“S”* and carries a symbolic meaning, conveying a special message in this setting.
