What is the one thing that your parents/family taught you that you most want to pass on to your own children?

For me it was that hard work and perseverance will win out against natural talent. Nothing in life is free. You have to work hard to get what you want in life, you can’t skip the ‘work hard’ part. They taught me that when you work hard for something then the fruits of your labour taste even sweeter in the end.

My parents have always been great role models for me.  One of the most important lessons I learned from my father is the importance of hard work and perseverance. He always achieved his goals with great effort and passed this spirit on to me..
 I also learned valuable lessons about love and kindness from my mother.  He always treated others with a heart full of love and kindness and taught me how to treat others with respect. 
 What was important for my family was honesty and integrity.  They always told me that honesty is the best policy and I should always be truthful and honest in life.These lessons and values ​​not only helped me to be a better person, but I plan to pass them on to my children so that they, too, can be successful and happy in life.
 And I told my child today: Always remember that you are extremely important and many people need you.  Whatever you are, every part of your being is beautiful and unique. You should always look for a way to forgive others in your heart.
