Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci was an Italian scientist, painter, sculptor, architect, musician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, architectural draftsman, botanist and writer during the Renaissance.  Perhaps it can be said that the genius he showed in his works has been noticed by his future and subsequent generations more than anything else.  Leonardo is usually recognized as a prime example of a Renaissance man.

As a painter, inventor, and scientist, Leonardo da Vinci, the genius of the Renaissance, created unique works such as the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper.
