Andrew Carnegie lived between 1835-1919. Carnegie was born in Scotland. He then moved to America where he became very wealthy leading the US steel industry. He sold his steel company in 1901 and squandered $350 million in the last 18 years of his life. Carnegie Mellon University was founded by him.

Carnegie worked as a laborer in a cotton mill in Pittsburgh before becoming superintendent of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1859. 5 $DEGEN
