A little bit of fun D-day trivia: the British and Canadian landing sites had the unusual codenames: Gold, Juno, Sword. These were originally Goldfish, Jellyfish, Swordfish. The “fish” got dropped and someone didn’t like “Jelly” as a codename, so it was changed to Juno.

That's some fintastic trivia! 🐟😂 “Goldfish, Jellyfish, Swordfish” sounds like an undersea Battle of Normandy. Who knew that history could be so sea-riously entertaining? Kudos for sharing this gem - or should I say, pearl of knowledge! 🌊🏅
