Sotheby's and Fanatics are organizing an unusual auction in New York. Sold at the auction will be “Grails” - rare and expensive collectible sports cards. The main hit is a double card with portraits of NBA legends Michael Jordan and Julius Irving and their autographs, issued for the Exquisite Collection 2005-2006. The item, experts say, is unique: not only is it the only copy released that season, but it is also one of only two releases of double cards with NBA stars ever issued for the Exquisite Collection. The rarity's estimate is $1 million. At about the same price - $0.8-1 million - a 1955 card with that season's debutant and future baseball legend Roberto Clemente (the first Latino to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame) is estimated at $0.8-1 million.
