The Starry Night Over the Rhone painting was painted in 1888, two years before Vincent's death. This Dutch painter shows the city of Earle at night, during which he rented a house nearby. The yellow houses and bright oil-painted stars that Van Gogh brought to the world of art can be seen in this painting and his other works, such as Starry Night, Cafe Terrace.
