The power of composability is that once a piece of software is written, it never needs to be written again. If you browse GitHub, you’ll see free open-source code for almost anything you might want to do, from math formulas to website development to video game graphics. The code can simply be copied and reused as a component in other software. Then the other software can be copied and reused, ad infinitum. When this happens inside a company, it makes the company more productive. When this happens in open-source repositories, it speeds up software development everywhere.
