The Swords in Rock, or Sverd i Fjell, in Stavanger, Norway, are a monument commemorating the Battle of Hafrsfjord in 872, when Harald Fairhair unified Norway. The three bronze swords, each about 10 meters tall, are embedded in the rock near Hafrsfjord. The monument was designed by Fritz Røed and unveiled in 1983 by King Olav V.

You took me to the world of mythological stories, my friend... Incidentally, I recently read a story about the battles of Orpheus in a book by Alberto Moriano, which also had a famous sword.
