There is a law that we have overlooked, and that is the inverse law. Alan Watts, a famous philosopher, said about this law: “The more you seek to feel good all the time, the less content you will be.” Albert Camus also said: “If you seek to know what happiness is, you will never be happy, and if you seek the meaning of life, you will never live.” The point is clear: everything worthwhile in life is achieved by overcoming the negative experiences associated with it. Moments of carelessness are precisely when life has the greatest impact. The subtle art of being carefree is to learn how to prioritize our thoughts in an effective and focused way, choosing what is not important to us and what is important based on our personal values.
