Researchers: Ketogenic diet can reduce the growth rate of cancer tumors.
 Scientists have shown in a study that the ketogenic diet (keto) can be effective in the treatment of cancerous tumors in the colon and pancreas.  But it may also be associated with the risk of muscle wasting and weakness and threaten the patient's life.  Of course, researchers have also provided a solution to this problem.
 The reason why the ketogenic diet works is probably because tumors get their energy from glucose (sugar) and because glucose comes from carbohydrates and this diet has a very low level of carbohydrate intake, cancer cells get very little energy to grow.
 Of course, this mechanism can also increase the speed of cachexia in patients.  A person who is associated with weight loss, muscle wasting and weakness is considered to be the cause of death of 30% of cancer patients.
