According to ChainCatcher and CoinDesk, Lido co-founders Konstantin Lomashuk and Vasiliy Shapovalov's Cyber Fund is developing a blockchain identity platform, codenamed 'Y,' to compete with Sam Altman's World Network. Unlike World Network, which uses iris scans for authentication, Project Y will leverage social media and blockchain activity data combined with the Ethereum Attestation Service to verify identities, aiming to address biometric data privacy concerns and reduce fraud.
