Great question. I was an early adopter of VR back when the Vive first launched. 

Here's why it didn't work for me:

1. Comfort (hot, can't easily hit buttons, 30+ mins is tough)
2. Makes me motion sick (I sometimes make myself sick in race cars irl too)
3. Vive specifically was just too blurry
4. Comfort

This looks awesome! Might inspire me to build my own. Me and a friend were discussing these official F1 simulator setups the other day. Had me all 😍 but that price tag tho!

Omg those things are amazing! But they lock you in to one series because of the driving position. And unfortunately there's no good F1 sims...

As for building your own rig, all I can say is "Do it!"
