KAINEHE HUNT By Mike Coots https://leisurepiece.com/products/kainehe-hunt "I've shot this backwash for years with no one around, and it was always a dream to have someone ride it. This wave is unique- an water explosion forms when a wave rolls up a sea cliff and back down to the ocean meeting the next wave in chaos. On Thanksgiving evening a couple years back, I was heading there to shoot and ran into Kainehe Hunt and he suggested the offer to try and ride a few. It was very difficult to shoot (and ride I could imagine) but we lined one up and magic happened.
