Mario Bertsi is considered one of the strongest colorists of his generation. Color is used with intensity and power in his works. For example, flashes of orange or ocher pieces are placed in front of a dynamic combination of lively bright greens. Or a little bit of effective brown is added to the white spots

The Hare And The Tortoise Tired of the bragging of a speedy hare, a tortoise challenges it to a race. The overconfident hare accepts the competition and runs as fast as it can after the race begins. Soon it gets tired and decides to rest, thinking that there’s plenty of time to relax before the tortoise can catch up with it. Meanwhile, the tortoise continues to walk slowly, until it reaches the finish line. The overslept hare wakes up, only to be shocked that a slow moving tortoise beat it in the race.

There are three clocks in the picture, one of which probably refers to three times: future, present and past. The fly indicates the beginning of the near future. This painting is also known by other names, the most famous of which are "melted clocks" or "soft clocks".

has been in our school books for decades now. He came to be known as the devoted farmer in our elementary literature books throughout Iran. As his true story goes, Rizali was walking along the railway line one night – he was 32 then – when he realized that a landslide had blocked the way. In order to save the passengers, he takes off his jacket in the cold weather, sets fire to it, and starts to walk towards the train using it as a torch. But the train driver fails to notice him and Rizali is forced to fire a few shots with his hunting gun to stop the train.

This doctor and artist named his collection of works "Dreams You Can Touch". And in the beginning, to start painting alone, he has gone back to his childhood, the time when all his illustrations can change his world. Cyril Rolando
