THREAD: CBDCs (could be) good

The term 'CBDC' often triggers certain types of reactions. For everybody who prefers to make uneducated guesses on how we are supporting bringing surveillance tools into existence, I have come up with a
fresh perspective!

The discussion in Germany's Bundestag, highlighted by a recent DEA article (linked at the end), sheds light on a balanced debate around digital currencies. Our partnership granted us a unique opportunity to contribute to this dialogue

Most notably, the DEA's emphasis on privacy through technology—not just assurances—speaks volumes. Dr. Jonas Gross advocates: 
"Privacy is a major challenge. From our perspective, privacy must be technically guaranteed, not just promised. The great thing is that there are some technologies that make this  possible"
