My backup hd with 10 years of glitch art has started acting up and now I’m trying to transfer everything out to a new drive but it keeps crashing 😭😭😭 pray for me frens ❤️

Fren!! So sorry to hear this... Get an online cloud thingy!!! Like Dropbox or other Drive!! This happened to me in the past. The drives die!!!

Its true they do die!  But ive also heard horror stories of people using big corporate cloud storage for years only to find their data has been corrupted when they try to download. Also i distrust google et al and how they would use peoples data to train AI or sell ads. I just want to be a local hero 🦸‍♂️

There is this rule of 3. 

Have your work in 3 places. Your computer, your external drive and online cloud. There is no way anything happens to them all at the same time. Only the end of the world or solar flare will destroy them all at the same time but you are not going to need them anyway when it happens. I do it. I'm safe. I pay monthly for Dropbox, I have a drive too. I sleep well.
