Is there anyone in the US gov talking seriously about what to do about mass job automation?

The “augments” claim already doesn’t hold up for entry level jobs, and is likely to not hold up for all jobs the closer we get to ASI.

If every new AI just augments workers and makes them much more productive, unless demand increases at the same or higher rate than productivity, then you need fewer employees. Seems like a lot of CEOs are out there lying about basic math.
