Nolan has gone to a historical figure in his latest film, but who is Oppenheimer? Oppenheimer was a professor at Berkeley University. During the Second World War, a project called "Manhattan Project" was started. The purpose of this project was to build the first atomic bomb. he was the leader of this project.
