Okay, I never actually told this story to anyone, and still feeling embarrassed, but here we go :
I was walking my dog at the park when she froze, staring at a bush. Thinking it was another dog or maybe a bird, I leaned in to check. Suddenly, a squirrel shot out of the bush and ran straight up my leg.
I let out a yell, started flapping my arms like a maniac, and managed to scare the squirrel, my dog, and myself all at once. The squirrel jumped off me and took off, but my dog went after it and yanked me down into the dirt.
A couple of people nearby started laughing, and all I could do was get up, wipe myself off, and pretend it didn’t happen. I grabbed my dog’s leash, and I never looked back. 😭 🤣 5 replies
