Americans spend more than 100B on state run lotteries per year. If that were a solo company, making 100B in revenue, it would be the 9th largest company in the world. When people come at crypto for “it’s just gambling” my response? “oh, so a completely legitimate use case?” gambling = 1 slice of the pie.

Lottery is a tax on the stupid, you’re paying to dream of the ‘what if’s’ at least with crypto you can make informed decisions and investments with a little bit of time and effort 🤷🏻♂️ it’s the shit coins and penny stocks that give the rest a bad name

You can’t make this stuff up. My customer gave me scratch off tickets today as a “tip“. This is my first time in my entire life gambling.

Completely agree. I don’t personally gamble for your reasons above. But as far as use cases go, can’t stop human nature. It’s just one aspect of crypto that hopefully becomes a smaller piece of it as time goes
