Gm 🍓 a lesson in going with natures flow. 
Last year, we dug up and moved all of our strawberries out of this bed and planted 13 new blueberries and two new grapes here. 
The strawberries had a different plan and came back this spring bigger than ever. Now we have two strawberry beds, and the new blueberry bed is weed free thanks to the very determined strawberry ground cover.

More berries! Ya I’ve learned my lesson with mint, that shit comes back bigger every year, gotta get out there and beat it all back

Mint is the ultimate arch nemesis! Beat it back is the only acceptable term!  The shit is literally growing under my plastic barrier, protecting my aspargus.
Its in my chives, my oregano, growing inside my roses 😭😭
One plant 8 years ag,  and we have been at war since!

Ya I’ve been debating trying to dig up where I planted it in hopes of killing the source lol. That’s insane!  Definitely a lesson learned, keep it in a pot lol

I didn’t have a clue, I usually do herbs in pots but I figured eh let’s make one of the raised beds herbs this year (2 years ago) and last year when I saw it come back like triple the size I knew I was in trouble

Hahaha ill only do mint in pots, in the driveway so it can't spread
