Thanks bro, hope your day is going great as well! I'm not ready for Monday either, and I'm gonna be getting a call any day to start all these medical appointments I've been waiting on, tbh I'm not super excited about it all lol. π x 333

Yup, at least to some extent. It'll be 12 weeks. That said, it's all stuff I've literally done before to no avail, but after releasing they run you through the gauntlet again to see if they can make you better, so I just have to play the game, and I mean, IF they can help me physically or mentally I'm all for it, just keeping low expectations though.

So like they run you through the shit to see if they can continue to help you in terms of medical benefits for injuries and mental stuff, or if they think youβre good to ship you off once and for all to be fully citizen and on your own?

A mix of both I'd say. Part of the medical release process is getting 2 years (while getting paid still essentially with my pension and a top up to 90% of my previous take home, which without the deductions actually comes up to a little over 100%) to either keep recovering, do schooling, etc. During this time they'll help with appointments and working on trying to get you better. Sometime by the end of the 2 years, or it can go longer potentially, they'll decide whether I'm fit to return to work, or unfit and I'll continue receiving the top up to 90% with my pension. Either way it's a good deal, unless a person truly isn't fit for work and they say that you are of course. We'll see what happens!
