Talked to Mom Burr again today and it seems like this strike could be more serious than we realize.

The main point of negotiation is AUTOMATION.  The dock workers don't want this and as we all know, this is unavoidable.

Again, this isn't a cast to PANIC but everything is so expensive already and if there is a shortage, things get crazy.

Things I've stocked so far:
- paper towels
- paper plates
- tooth paste
- cleaning wipes
- regular bathroom stuff
- non pershiable foods 
- peanut butter

I brought up this automation ban request to my classes yesterday and we had some awesome discussions

I remember a current events class I took in highschool that would regularly have discussions and debates over things like this, I’m anti confrontational so I struggled lmao but it’s good the kids have the discussions with someone other than their parents who are likely biased
