Alright, we just got home from the vet! It turns out little Lily (my son chose this name) had broken her leg when she was younger. It’s fully healed, but the bone healed in the wrong spots which is why she now walks/sits a little weird, but overall she’s ok and can live normally like this. A surgery can be done, but it’s a big one with metal bars, pins, and roughly $10,000 cost. As for the pregnancy, the x-ray showed no kittens in her belly, so he said unless he’s VERY freshly pregnant that’s the only way they wouldn’t be visible in the imaging. We’re going to wait a few weeks to get a full confirmation that she’s not pregnant, then we’ll get her vaccinations and all that good stuff. TLDR - high chance that Lily will be deemed intern #6

Little Lilly love the name little breech. Tbh I wouldn’t do the surgery either, got kids to feed 😂 hopefully she’s not pregnant either you’re gonna be a lot busier if that’s the case lol! Unless that’s what you want….then woohoo more kittens for breech

Hahaha thanks bro! And ya, that’s a little too pricy for a surgery if she can live a normal life with her leg as it is. And NOOOO, as much as we’re cat lovers here, this puts us at 6, adding a litter of kittens would be too much 🤣 Praying that she’s not pregnant so we can work on introducing her to the rest of the house. She’ll have to live in her cozy little bedroom until we figure it out and get her vaccinated though!

lol my wife and I have had those conversations before going to the Vet before and luckily got better news than expected. Glad it’s working out!
