lol they sure are! They sleep with white noise instead of silence

My boys sleep with their door open for similar reasons and they’re all addicted to the white noise and night light, I used to love total darkness and silence like you, I guess I’ve been trained to handle it now 😂

Personally I can't sleep if there is any noise. Clocks, music etc. 
My son was a nightmare at bedtimes until he was maybe 12. Didn't want to sleep alone, night light, door open, insomnia. We tried so many things but eventually he grew out of it.
