Hmmm, I do need to get in gear soon lol. My pension can 40% of our living expenses, so just in case they deem me fit to return to work in 2 years (I'm paid in full until then) I'd love to have a backup plan ready to go so I can stay out of the actual rat race and subsidize my own income. If 2025 is a bull run return like 2013/2017/2021, that will also help, but I can't rely on that until it happens. All I know is I do NOT want to go back into the normal workforce. That said, there's also a good chance that they don't deem me fit for work (where I can make at least 75% of my previous pay) and I'm just paid for life and then can explore stuff like you've mentioned freely. Man, that sounds lovely lol.
