I used to be extremely overweight, sedentary, with many unhealthy coping mechanisms. I haven't gotten rid of them all, but almost a decade ago I started to add healthy ones as well. Yoga was what helped me unlock my body and start changing my life. I liked youtube classes because I was embarrassed about my body and it let me learn in privacy while I slowly got comfortable with it again. Going to start sharing some yoga classes to try and motivate myself to continue to maintain this routine, and hopefully inspire others to start taking charge of their own habits. https://youtu.be/FGrzapAAmWk?si=fJI28IniZCqs_gaV

I haven't done much kettlebell work, but I have heard good things. I have a pretty basic gym machine and dumbbell workout that I do, can you recommend any kettlebell programs or routines to try? I also love a good walk outdoors, core part of my mental health plan is time in nature. Heh it can be a little tough in the beginning for sure. Finding a beginner friendly practice helps a ton. One where they take the time to walk you through all the little steps to help you build a solid foundation and understand what you are trying to do. I started with the youtube channel: Yoga with Adriene. She is goofy in a way that works for me. It's really important to find an instructor you connect with and there are a bunch out there to try. https://youtu.be/v7AYKMP6rOE?si=FIA2X7N0TnWVcbMW
