I have NO clue what the ploy behind this was, but this is ludicrous. 

Some guy DC's me saying "hi, my friend said you were rude to him, why did you do it?"

Confused, I ask what the hell he's talking about, and he sends me this "chat" as proof. The chat reads like it's fake and set up to me, I don't know who actually speaks like this.

I can safely say I've never had someone try to chat with me and my first reaction be to tell them to fuck off, followed by insulting their family. 😅 

I don't know if this was somehow going to lead to a scam/phishing attempt, but I muted the dude who messaged me regardless.

You open DMs? My rule of thumb is if I don’t know you or you don’t ping me saying you’re DMing me, insta delete

I don't open ones in the hidden folder, but this came from an account with a few hundred following and like 1400 followers and it came right to my normal inbox. 

Ridiculous attempt though, I wait until the second or third time I speak with someone before telling them to fuck off and insult their family. Rookie mistake by them lmao
