I don't particularly focus on how calming it is. The days I decide it's a random squiggle, I enjoy it thoroughly. On some days, I have specific ideas--- like the hand series or the peacock/butterfly; those days I'm a bit reluctant to start. But once I start I enjoy the flow. Somedays I have felt like skipping the routine; but the streak keeps me going and the moment I do it, I feel great :)
