i feel like most people (myself included) aren't aware of this. do you ever think it'll break through the noise? why doesn't this stuff get shared more often (or if it does, where is it shared)?

Regardless of the Israel situation, I don’t think we can afford to have a situation where an unfriendly force has the ability to close out the Red Sea like that and is willing to exercise it from time to time.

Important to note about the Houthi-claimed attack: It was precisely that. They may have launched actual missiles but they have a history of making bold claims on top of their actual attacks.

Otherwise I largely agree with the overall analysis though.
