The degree to which Anglo sphere and western/NATO countries are currently doing stupid performative things like travel warnings or whatever are the degree to which they have also been captured by old US state sponsored ideological projects

History, tech stuff, SEO/marketing, shitposting, etc. etc.

Everything, down to the rhetorical arguments for which any other western country is “resisting Trump” or whatever, 100% comes from the US. 

We created this bureaucratic expertise system, exported it to you, and now that we’re like yeah this isn’t exactly working anymore, you’re  resisting changing because you have systems that were set up to be like what we gave you years ago. 

This is like a software update that is being rejected because it’s different from the current software. Yeah, we know it’s different, that’s the point

This also doesn’t mean that every new policy decision is guaranteed to be good…but if your rebuttal to the idea is something that goes back to “well the current regime we have for this says this isn’t the proper way to do it” do you really not expect me to interpret this as extremely bad faith?
