In an election season where the democrats attempted to pass super cruel border policies, courted dick and Liz Cheney endorsements, told their Muslim demographic to fuck off, and tried their hardest to shy away from identity politics, it blows my mind people are blaming the democrats for being "too far left wing."

The problem with these takes is that people didn’t vote against Kamala based on strictly her campaigns views between July & November 2024.

Whether they’re right or wrong to do this, people definitely judged Kamala on things she said years ago & on their general perception of the Democrat party. 

They were not convinced by 4 months of tempering after 10 years of the opposite.
