Lots of talk about this that it’s a “for thee not for me” thing 1. It may sound patrimonial but people saying yes in general but no for myself could just be correct… 2. …Because they’re identifying the stated wants of other people. If the people saying “I’d be better off in manufacturing” actually worked in manufacturing the industry would almost 10x

(Stated vs revealed preference, obviously, but just cut down the multiple to whatever you think is realistic, it’s still an increase)
