I didn’t write this, but it’s increasingly my view as well. Which means that I’m now more into Ethereum for the tech than I ever was (except at ICO, where I got in because I thought the tech was cool).

One thing I think this author may be missing is that the authorities and Wall Street have largely written off Ethereum. We can "speculate" that Ethereum will eventually become the legitimate global settlement layer. If that happens, ETH will see massive buy pressure from the people who have written it off today.
