TLDR: Sicily is great for holidays and food but not working remotely! having an italian wife I am often challenged why we choose to work remotely from Spain and not south of Italy… today I have another answer - they don’t steel your headlights in the city center (Palermo) when you visit a doctor 😅

We had a rental car broken into in Brazil awhile back - in front of a friend's house! They damaged the door, cut the seatbelts...and stole the spare tire. $1000 of damage for a $40 spare tire 😫
