Cleaned up my homelab today. Routed all power through a UPS, which gives me an hour of uptime in case the power goes out. My ISPā€™s 10 Gbps fiber modem feeds into an SFP+ module plugged in a Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE that acts as router and firewall. Iā€™m running 3x Ubuntu Server NUCs with an Ethereum node, a Quilibrium node, and Adguard Home as the central adblocking DNS (which I can monitor in real time on the screen). Also a Synology NAS for local backups + video surveillance. The utility closet was ~20 inches wide so I had to shop for a slim rack that could just about fit

Pro tip, Daisy Chain one more UPS in there. Will double your uptime in case of power outage, and act as a failover in case the UPS fails (and we have a bunch of those units at work, theyā€™re very good but you donā€™t normally know the battery is dead until power goes).
