Bought a Kindle finally and am getting more reading done. I am reading books that interest me, but that I don’t necessarily want on my bookshelf. i.e. More nonfiction. Reading rn:

I am curious why does the kindle allow you to get more reading done? Which kindle do you have?

Portability mainly. I got the smallest, lightest one. Also, it’s so much easier to read if I wake at night since I don’t need an extra light to read. Great for beach reading too!

I am going to look into this... and do you find it's easy to go to the page you left off at and also go back to a page to re-read it. (As in - with a paper book - I like the easy of being able to flip through a book to a page that I want to re-read)

Yes. Very easy to bookmark pages. The other thing I love is the built in dictionary. You can click on words to see the definition. Very handy!

Oh wow that is a massive PLUS... a dictionary. Would you mind sharing exactly which one you purchased to save me doing the research? 🙏

Sure. I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/kindle-the-lightest-and-most-compact-kindle/dp/B0B92489PD/ Although many ppl prefer the "paperwhite" version, which is slightly larger and has more back-light options (warm/cool, etc.) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9Z7SYPB/ I ultimately wanted the most portable/smallest. Otherwise, I probably would have chosen the Paperwhite version.
