Intrigue 2nd Edition’s 2-Cost Lurker lets you trash actions from *supply* and then grab them later.

This lets you grab expensive actions without paying. But its real power is 1) when the action you trash does something when it’s trashed or 2) when the action trashes itself anyway

First, getting expensive actions. Lurker becomes the best way to grab actions that are high cost, high debt, or have tough buying restrictions.

Of course, if your opponent is buying Lurkers too, they might scoop them up before you can.

But if you can get two Lurkers in a single hand, you can trash+grab in one turn.

Second, cards which do things when trashed. Lurker will activate these cards for you even when you don’t have them.

Beware Lurker + Hunting Grounds!

Dominion Wiki just went down 🤔  so no photo, but Hunting Grounds reads “+4 cards. When you trash this, gain a Duchy or 3 Estates.”

= trash the supply and win!

Finally, some cards trash themselves when used. Now you can easily grab them back!

Intrigue is a common expansion, even playable by itself, so don’t be surprised if you see Lurker hit the table. But beware!
