Solana's value seems to be chiefly measured in how many meme coins people ape into (and then lose money on). I don't think it's a problem with Solana (I think it is good tech and gives Ethereum cause to improve), but degens speculating away their money to line the pockets of rich people is not a good ecosystem basis.

Advisor Equity can be a divisive topic. Founders I know who got the value they were hoping for from it: (a) already knew their Advisors well (b) had Advisors referred to them from trusted founder-friends (c) had a clear policy spelled out in advance with performance-based vesting.
