tl;dr is it worked okay for small groups (< 5), but got messy at any scale. That, and the revenue margins in travel productivity apps are near 0

I don't doubt that it's a terrible business, but some things should still exist even if they're not profitable. :)

haha completely agree! Every year or so some friends and I debate building this as a free product and then lose track of time
