Oooosh, it's a long and arduous tale, but essentially art saved my life in a time I was in deep despair and depression, I started making work thinking exclusively about what I would make. 

Then I discovered philosophy, psychology and consciousness sciences that also helped me overcome the negative impacts of BPD and imbue my work with what I find in those subjects.

I started an online peer support group and sold art/sculptures to help fund my time and ended up selling 1000 pieces worldwide under the pseudonym Grum Reapur. 

That lead to a fine art and creative computing degree and here we are 😊 (in a nutshell, there's much more but that is the simplest form of it)

It really is, helps explore emotions and meaning, as well as a meditative practice in my experience. I believe the purpose of art is to expose those deeper parts of ourselves that others can resonate with. It's why art is so incredibly subjective.
